The dreaded outboard

I am growing a personal hatred of our Johnson 15 out board motor. It goes at very high planing speeds, but it keeps breaking. We had a long time of having a problem with the water pump, which we fixed a couple days ago. Now, the starter rope came out! We pulled it and pulled it and pulled it and it came out. But I think that Orion will write about that one on Juno's Journey.

The tunnels

Now that we are in Mahon, we went to the fort there. After a while, it was all hot then we went into these stairs that go down to the underground powder magazines. The first complex was infinitely dark. I used the camera to take flash photos to see what was ahead. There were these powder lifts that went down to the tunnels. There was another set of tunnels that had lights in it, and there was this one magazine that was chained off, and had roots dangling from the ceiling. It was awesome!

Adopt

Well, now I am no longer afraid of the bottom of the boat of the bottom of the bay that we're in but I am afraid of the other kind of bottom and jellyfish. Both are reasonable fears. But it's an improvement. I hope that I never get stung by a jellyfish.

School

Well, school's started again so we go back to the normal routine. Now, it's fifth grade and lots of fun. It takes about one to two hours to complete each day so, no big deal. I've completed a short story and am working on another one so that's nice. These posts do well as compositions so I'm going well!

Jellyfish

Ever since Orion got stung by one, I've been scared of jellyfish. Yesterday, I was going out for a swim and the water got super murky. I mean, you can't even see to the bottom. Then I realized that there are jellyfish are around here. And if I ran into one, I wouldn't have known until it stung me. I got out of the water. Maybe somewhere else will be a place to jump off the bow.
